Respiratory Muscle Endurance and UDIP/UDEP

The MicroRMA (Respiratory Muscle Analyser) employs a simple combination of bacterial filter and mouthpiece, in addition to a nose clip, to attain a reliable and safe measurement of Respiratory Muscle Endurance and User Defined Inspiratory and Expiratory Pressures.

  • Bacterial Filter


    The Bacterial Filters prevent cross contamination between users, and additionally protects the unit.

    They are for single patient use and thus are disposable items.

  • Flanged Mouthpiece


    The Flanged Mouthpiece provides grip for the patient.

    They are designed to be sterilized and re-used, but each patient must use a new or sterilized mouthpiece.

  • Nose Clips


    The Nose Clips prevent leakage during the course of the tests.

    They are designed to be sterilized and re-used, but each patient should use a new or sterilized nose clip.

  • Perasafe Sterilization Procedures


    Perasafe is a medical instrument sterilisation powder, which when mixed with warm water and the item allowed to soak, will provide full disinfection within 10 minutes.
